Web Design
Shuffle Watch
Shuffle Watch is a group-built movie streaming website where I designed the UI/UX and helped developed the platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and movie APIs to create a clean, user-friendly browsing experience.
Year :
2024
Industry :
Entertainment
Client :
Shuffle Watch
Project Duration :
4-5 weeks

Problem :
Many movie streaming platforms overwhelm users with cluttered interfaces and complicated navigation, making it difficult to quickly discover content. For this project, the challenge was to design a smooth, user-friendly streaming experience while also translating UI/UX concepts into a fully functional website using front-end development technologies.
Working in a group added another layer of complexity, requiring clear collaboration between design and development.

Solution :
Shuffle Watch is a movie streaming website designed and developed as a team project. I focused on the UI and UX design while also contributing to development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and movie APIs.
The platform allows users to browse movies, explore content dynamically, and enjoy a clean, intuitive interface. The design process began with layout planning and user flow mapping, followed by UI mockups and implementation. By combining UX principles with real development, we transformed wireframes into a responsive, interactive website.

Challenge :
Translating UI designs into working code
Integrating movie APIs and handling dynamic data
Maintaining consistent styling across pages
Collaborating effectively within a development team
Debugging layout and functionality issues
Balancing visual design with performance and usability.
Summary :
Shuffle Watch is a collaborative UI/UX and web development project that explores the full process from interface design to functional implementation. The project strengthened my understanding of responsive layouts, user-centered design, API integration, and teamwork.
By combining design thinking with front-end development, I helped create an engaging movie streaming experience while gaining hands-on experience in building real-world digital products.
